A mixing coupling scheme for spectra of singly heavy baryons with spin-1 diquarks in P-waves

Abstract A new scheme of state classification is proposed and applied to analyze masses the heavy baryons $$\varOmega _{Q}$$ Ω Q , $$\varSigma Σ $$\varXi _{Q}^{\prime }$$ Ξ ′ in P-waves. The results confirm all excited _{c}$$ c _{b}$$ b reported recently by LHCb be bound states a P-wave ss -diquark respective charm or bottom quark, thereby predict Regge trajectories for more baryons. We suggest one $$J^{P}=5/2^{-}$$ J P = 5 / 2 - unseen around 6352 MeV, spin-partners odd-parity _{c}(2800)/\varXi _{c}^{\prime }(2942)$$ ( 2800 ) 2942 _{b}(6097)$$ 6097 / _{b}^{\prime }(6227)$$ 6227 . computation further given relativized potential quark models explain matched values spin couplings considered baryons, which scaling law these discussed.
